Whether it be by exchanging knowledge in forums and discussion boards, or by deepening understanding at education workshops and events, family physicians and multidisciplinary team members can build long term mentoring relationships tailored to their needs.

Become a Mentor
Mentors are family physicians and specialists with pain management and/or substance use focus.

Request a Mentor
Mentees are family physicians and multidisciplinary team members who want to build their confidence and capacity in treating patients with chronic pain and/or substance use disorders.

Share in Monthly Virtual Collaboration Forums
The Virtual Collaboration Forum brings together members on a monthly web/teleconference to review case studies, highlight tools and resources, and identify upcoming education events.



Use the Discussion Board
The Discussion Board provides a secure online platform, for members to seek advice from peers and colleagues.

Attend CMN Education Events
Workshops and other opportunities will by provided by the CMN to help build capacity and competency in the areas of chronic pain and substance use within the patient’s medical home.
